Hey Im in the 6th week of flowering and the leaves are turning yellow, the strain Matanuska is 8-10 weeks for flower and would like to stretch it to that.
i think youll be able fine giving it water for the next week or 2 and letting the plant eat whatever it has left til harvest. You can add molasses for the first few feedings @ 1tbsp/gal or w.e you’re comfortable with as long as its organic blackstrap molasses to feed the microbes some sugar and to give the plant some calcium, magnesium, potassium, and iron.
Thanks, the plant next to it has had exactly the same of everything but no yellowing. I have read that Matanuska (the yellowing one) is fast flowering. Is the molasses easily available?
Thanks, do you think she will be ok? week 7 starts in 2 days. My ph was 6.5-6.8 before watering, have adjusted to 6. Still waiting the arrival of new PPM meter and magnifier. I gave it a dose of Root Roids yesterday but more yellowing, should I bump up nutes or begin flushing?
They might even say you have enough green foliage to just feed some molasses and then flush for the next couple of weeks if you want to harvest at 8 weeks but idk
Ok, im no expert but your buds seem like theyre a few weeks or so from being done (cant be 100% sure without looking at trichs). my honest opinion, if youre worried about the plant having enough nutes to finish you can brew up a tea with just some of your living soil if you have extra and feed that to the plant. But id also wait a few for someone more experienced like @Mr. Grow It or other growers in this community to chime in.
Its in a 5 gal pot in organic living soil which doesnt require fertilizer according to the company Dr Greenthumbs, only a dose of Root Roids (Rhizophagus irregularis, Bacillus subtilis, Trichoderma harzianum, Beauveria bassiana, and 100% organic based microbe food) and Fruit Roids (Proprietary blend of 100% natural enzymes, plant based growth hormones, minerals, amino acids & complex carbohydrates). I copied and pasted from they're website. I give it 1-1.5 litres of water every 2 days or so with a dose of those once a week 3 days apart as suggested by Dr Greenthumbs, there is no run off from the pots, should I give it more water to get run off to measure?
Potentially the medium is depleted. Have you thought of brewing a tea?
Yes easily its available, thanks again.

Are you feeding organics or synthetic?
