Depends on how long it's been since flip. If it's been more than a couple weeks then it's not likely. It could have allowed spores to start germinating. I'd be looking at airflow as the cause. Plants transpire more during flower and growth becomes more compact. Also, the longer dark cycles create a greater opportunity for spores to germinate.
