These are general ranges. Some phenos will be able to take a higher PPM while others may be sensitive to this range and prefer a lower PPM. The "two weeks before harvest" number is if you flush/leech. Some growers don't flush/leech at all so consider that number optional.
You high lol. The runoff is the true PPM. If you're runoff is 1000 PPM and you add in a nutrient mix of 650 PPM, then your runoff should then be around 1650 PPM. It never works out to be perfect like that but you get the idea. Also, it'll vary depending if you're in soil or coco coir.
