So, if I have 650 ppm going in with just water and Cal-Mag...

Should I be subtracting that 650 from the runoff to get the true ppm of the soil? Or am I just high?

Haha.. yeah I kinda figured that might be the case. Hey bro, @Mr. Grow It what's your average ppm going in with Cal-Mag and water? 650 just seems a little high.

It depends on the stage of growth and how much is already in the medium. Here's a general range I typically stay in:

These are general ranges. Some phenos will be able to take a higher PPM while others may be sensitive to this range and prefer a lower PPM. The "two weeks before harvest" number is if you flush/leech. Some growers don't flush/leech at all so consider that number optional.
