I have a 4x4 AC Infinity tent that will be finished with my 5 Auto Flowers in a couple of weeks. I am in the North East, and the grow tent is at the back of my garage at ground level. I have a humidifier, oscillating fan, a AC Infinity, and Growcraft A5 600 watts LED light, T6 extractor fan. Now at the mid spring time It's a constant problem to manage the heat in there wit the temp in the tent getting up to 90degrees. Apart from turning up the fans etc. I usually will leave the door to the tent open for a while. That will usually get the temp down to the 80s. However if I do another grow after this one the garage gets hotter later in the afternoon and there's no way to manage the temp through the summer. If I do go ahead during the summer does anyone have an appropriate AC suggestion that will do the job and not cost an arm and a leg.
Thanks,
Ken
My last suggestion would be to add some ducting to a wall, ceiling, or floor from inside and suck conditioned air through the tent. This reminds me, you are already ducting outside I hope... if not, start there.
If your temps are that high this early its gunna get ugly. I assume you have a window in your garage. A window unit will be the easiest and cheapest solution. A mini split would be the most efficient. I have more ridiculous options but I doubt you want them lol. Most of them are a bit to advanced for the average Joe.
Your best bet without buying a $500 portable AC would be to buy another inline fan and run some ducting to get outside air into the tent to help cool it down. If you have constant airflow from outdoors into the tent it should help.
