I'm in the process of setting up a 4x4 grow tent in an an enclosed 8'4"x6'4" lung room inside a garage that is either too cold or too warm depending on time of the year. The plan is to install a 10,000 BTU window AC along one wall in the 8x6 space for cooling. I was hoping to hook this window AC up to the Inkbird so that I could rely on the Inkbird's thermostat probe for a better sense of the actual temp inside the tent.
Will a window AC with a digital readout and its own thermostat work with an Inkbird ITC-308? The AC I'm considering is rated at 833W / 7.5 Amps so it should meet the Inkbird's specifications, but I'm seeing online that the Inkbird may not work well with a window AC.
Any insight or thoughts? Thank you.
Or should i just avoid the Inkbird product altogether and control the environment with automatic settings on each unit (AC, heat, humidifier / dehumidifier) since the lung room is so small?
Thanks again.
