First time grower here I have Lemon Skunk, Northern Lights#5, and Purple Punch happy in a 4X4 week 5 of veg.
I am curious, should I defoliate? I’ve been told that autos don’t like that, but I’d like to hear what this community and Chris think!

With autos, I typically defoliate around day 30 since sprout. Then if I feel necessary, I'll defoliate within the first 3 weeks of flowering when the plant is still stretching.
yes you can defoliate Autos.
Lowers and anything in the dirt. Try tucking before removing to expose the bud sites. General rule is to lightly remove as needed rather than go heavy at it like a Photo. Too much at once can stress an Auto and the recovery will effect the final outcome. Hope that helps and good growing!
