The additives are optional. Use this feeding chart so you get the correct NER (Nutrient Element Ratio). Although, you may want to start with a half dose (or even less) so you don't burn your plants. Growers use CALiMAGic in various ways, but since you're growing in soil, you should be able to get away with giving the plant 5-10ml per gallon every-other feeding.
