Do you guys think using a humidifier is necessary? I was talking to someone at a grow store and they recommend using it and keeping it at 60%

Yes 60% for drying is ideal, some do 55%. If you need to add a humidifier to get it to that RH, then for sure do it. If your RH is too low, the buds will dry too quickly.
