Can I leave my plants hanging too long? Something has come up and I have to fly back out to Vegas for a full week right after I think my plants will be hung.
I ran into a similar problem a few months back when the girls were ready a few days before a trip. I put them in darkness for 72 hours and then chopped them just before I left. I also just cut the main stalks and left all the leaves on.
Vaporizer ran out of water after 24 hours and the RH got down as low as 26%. 5 days later they were pretty dry but cured nice with some Boveda packs.
Yes you can absolutely "dry too long" resulting in it being over-dry. Not sure I have a solution for ya though since you won't be around do put them into jars when needed 😕
if you know you will be gone only a week & you can create a stable drying environment & you hang right before you leave you should be ok. if you cant create the proper temps & humidity levels it wont matter much its going to be what it is anyway .
@shaw076 yea, my only concern is that I don’t know exactly when they’ll be ready. its looking like one will be ready the week before and the second will be finished the week of
Thats a good point, if you left the leaves on and the plant whole it would probably time out about right.

Smell is a little off, but it smokes real nice.
Good luck!

Yes, you can, but if you jar them back up with a humidity pack, I believe you can bring them back somewhat.
