Day 65 and seeing a lot of amber trichomes ... TIMBER!!!!
This is my first shot at growing a photo period sativa, the seed was found in a bud of Casey Jones from a dispensary about 5 years ago. This has been the most sensitive and space hungry plant I have ever grown. Very spindly and does not like LST, Topping, wind or being cloned, she fought me every step of the way. The clone that has done the best is the one I let grow au'naturel and is now looking like a Christmas tree and blooming nicely. This is Sparta, so unless the cured bud is something spectacular I will not be continuing on with this line.
Smells amazing!
Thanks! Just jarred it up yesterday for the cure and the dry weight is 2 ounces and .5 grams. Not very dense buds, but I hear that is what to expect from this strain. It has bright orange hairs and smells really nice, can't wait to try it!
Nice job @Cap Stone ! I hope the taste, smell, and effect is what you are looking for.
I will let you know how it smokes, she smells real good and has a nice copper color to the fade the photos do not do justice to.
Yeah, funky looking leaves the whole grow, they were really sensitive to the wind. If the wind from the fan barely made them move they would go instant upside down taco and spent most of the grow like that. She only ever had 3 finger leaves although her healthiest clone has a few 5 finger leaves.
When I had the fan speed low enough to keep KC happy, the other girls started getting water on their leaves from condensation.
My biggest fear was that she was going to hermie from all the stress but fingers crossed she looks good so far.
Funky looking leaves, but love that fade on them. Buds look chunky and solid- I have some Panama Red that is 100% Sativa, but it's only strain I have currently that is. Do report on the smoke of the Casey tho- I am very interested how it turns out.
Outstanding job managing the height on that girl too-
