Hey guys just a quick question.
I'm day 36 of flower.
I've noticed that the tips of my leaves are beginning to go yellow / rusty.
The majority of the plant's leaves are the same, that is, beginning to go yellow or rusty.
(Images below)
I do have a fan blowing on top of the canopy and suspect' this could be a mild wind burn.
I hope it's not related to nutrients.
I grow in coconut core, run to waste.
My return waste PPM on average around 900 to 1100.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks.
A little bit of nutrient burn. Typically it's nothing to worry about - unless you're seeing other problems along with it.
keep An eye on runoff ph too
So I have done a little research on nutrient burn.
This is my plan;
Flush them to run off is tap water PPM.
Reduce my overall PPM from 1600 to 1100.
Reduce my feeding schedule by removing 1, 30 sec feed out of a total of 5 30 sec feeds over a 24 hour period. (I was getting a large amount of runoff, definitely over 20%)
Continue to monitor my run off PPM.
Continue to visually inspect leaves.
How does that sound?
That can be a sign of nute burn. Also possibly the start of a Phosphorus Def.
I had it on a scrogged plant and I just rolled with it (changed nothing). Nothing bad happened. If you know which of the those two possibilities are more likely, take action.
Good luck
