Entered flower recently and my humidity was 80% at most times. I bought a 50 gallon dehumidifier and it knocked the humidity right out. That said, the temp is now 90 with lights on! They are Mars Hydro TS3000 but still seems excessive. They are on 100% though. Lights out temp is only 82. Both have humidity around 45%.
Next I placed dehum outside of 8x4 tent in room. Temps went back to low 80s, but humidity at 66% no matter where I move it around or which tent openings I open near it.
I thought about placing it inside and ducting the top so hot air goes out of the tent, but then isn't it just a glorified exaust? But the humidity levels would be ideal at least.. Speaking of, I do have the AC inline going and it runs alot. But not enough to get 90 out.
Also considered putting it outside the tent and ducting it somehow, but I guess I really don't know exactly what to do there since the inlet is in the back and the exhaust is on top of the unit.
Suggestions?
Lung room has AC. Temp is 70. Humidity 60% in there. Sub basement. Pics included here. I may have found a solution. Testing it now. Fabricated a dehue top with cardboard, styrofoam and foil tape. Venting out the tent parallel to the inline fan vent. Both dump out into the sub basement about 10-12 feet from the tent. Hoping this is my answer
