Nope, you did it right. With clones, often times there aren't 2 branches at the nodes like there are with plants that come from seed. You should now see those 3 leaves at the nodes grow and turn into branches. It may take some time since the leaves are so small. The leaves are like solar panels; they intake the light energy which contributes to growth.
