thanks right so lets just say if i mix my nutes and it ranges between 1000,1100 like it is now 3 weeks into flowering how would i then lower the reading of the ppm?? more tun a run off ??
You want to compare the ppm in the runoff to the ppm that you put in. In theory the runoff should be less than what you put in because the soil is keeping some in. If there is a huge difference then the soil needed more than if the difference was smaller. Make sure your trays are clean and dont contain dried up material from your last water or feeding, otherwise you will get a false reading. Hope this helps. Good luck bud.
thanks bro yeah i get that but what if i need it to be lower and what target ppm should i have after i have mixed my nutes in order to get the right run off ppm or is it trail and error
yeah im growing in coco coir thanks I will continue to feed with nutes every watering, and also can I ask I am still new to growing what kind of ppm am I looking for before run off and after ?? because im getting around 1000\1100 in my watering can and I haven't done the run off didn't really understand just knew it couldn't be really really high like 1500 ??
Are you growing in soil or coco coir? When growing cannabis with bottled nutrients, most soil growers will feed a half dose every-other watering. Then increase feeding if needed. Don't forget to pH then nutrient mix prior to giving to your plants. Check the PPM of the runoff to help ensure the soil has enough nutrients in it.If you're growing in coco coir, many growers will feed every watering. Still check the PPM of the runoff when growing in coco as well.
Here is a general runoff PPM range for the different stages of growth:
If you need it to be lower then use less nutes and more water.
