Newbie I’m Currently in drying process buds hanging on clothes hangers room conditions ,Humidity60%/Temp 68 .Please how do I know when buds are dry enough to take down
The common response is to use the “bend” technique on the stems. If you bend them and they snap then they are “ready.” I use a different method since I have bud sites of various sizes in addition to the bend/snap. You can also go by the “crunch” of the fan leaves and the feel of the bud. If you have smoked flower before then you have some idea of what it should feel like. For me this method works best with the middle to large size buds. Your smaller buds will be dry relatively quickly. This is when I like to snip about 1g of the smalls off for my initial test smoke. If this bud is nicely dried and smokeable then the rest of the plant isnt far behind generally.
