Has anyone ever left the buds to dry on the plant ? Or instead of cutting the stalk,.why not dig the root up and hang to die ??curious as to how affective it was for bud quality
I tried it and my plants over-dried. I didn't manage the humidity well at all so it was totally my fault. As long as you're managing the RH, then you should get a better result than me lol 😄
well Ive decided to go with the cardboard box/bag drying method, then the C-vault for curing . This is her(gelato auto9thwkflower) now. I think I’m going to chop her today. Just have to decide to keep all together or cut branches
I have heard of so one start to let there plants dry standing but i think he still cut down after a few days (Matt he has a you tube acc Mr. Canucks Grow ) but as for the digging the roots up I don’t think I would do that hope this helps
I mean keeping it all intact. rinse dirt off. Hang it all to dry. Or keep in pot. Either. I’m just wondering why cut when it can draw from its original source
The roots just supply the plant with Nutrients. I don’t think they store any in Nutrients in the roots. But if you try it I would definitely like to know how it turns out.

"why not dig the root up and hang" If i am understanding you correctly, you want to dig the root ball up and just hang it upside down? You would have soil all over your buds? I don't think that would be a good idea.
She needs a lot more time.
