An outdoor potted plant is into flower and trichomes are visible on sugar leaves. The max magnification on my cell phone camera is not great enough to evaluate individual groups of trichomes for clarity/color. How can I determine 10% amber tricomes without magnification?

I need to determine when to flush the plant (two weeks before harvest when maybe 10% of Trichomes would be amber). Can this time be predicted by percentage of cloudy/clear Trichomes?
