this is my first grow with FFOF and fabric pots. After watering, the bottom of one of my pots stays wet for ~a week after watering. I have been sitting the pots directly onto planter trays but I think I am going to place them on a drying rack placed atop the drip tray. My question(s): do you place your fabrics pots directly on the drip tray or do you set it on a drying rack? Pros/cons of either option.

The water sitting in the saucers will go anaerobic and will result in pathogens. If the water hasn't wicked back up in 30-45 mins, I'd shop vac it up.
If it is staying wet versus the other not...it's not taking up water as fast. Ok...I guess it's the cultivar...size difference? If they are healthy, I guess not an issue...but wet for a week just doesn't seem healthy...is there standing water for all that time? or is the fabric at bottom just noticeably wet vs. dry? THAT is not so bad, it's the standing water for days that's bad...
Two different cultivars. The offender is an ILGM Maui Wowie photo. I transplanted her from a seedling mix into FFOF straight from the bag. All the pots are the same Vivosum fabric. Everyone is doing fine except her. Didn’t pack it anymore/less than the other.
the soil is straight from the bag? something different about that particular pot? aeration added? did you pack the soil in that one, not the others? different cultivar in that pot or all the same? autos or photos?
I thought the point of the drip tray was to retain the water and let it wick back up into the pot from the bottom, that said anything in standing water for a week does not sound good- I have water in my trays but it is gone the next morning after water- I removed my risers because they were too high to let the bottom of pot touch the water run off-
