First DWC final report

So, the end of a beautiful story. My first, and last, DWC grow went pretty good. No real problems with the grow, other than trying to keep the temps down in the res. That will be your biggest challenge to do a DWC grow. It was way more work to keep the res at the proper PH than I thought it would be, which is why Im leaving this behind. Too much work, at least compared to the other grow I was doing with Autopots. Yeah, the Autopots won this one and will be my next grow medium.

The Cultivar was Barney's Farm LSD fem seeds. They all popped nicely and went in to the DWC same time as my Autopot coco grow, but the DWC took about 2 weeks to get the roots down into the juice, and that resulted in some slow growth, along with trying to keeps temps below 75 deg F. in the res. Im in Northern Cali and it gets warm here. IF I did a DWC again, it would be an RDWC with a chiller. so... anyway, once the roots got wet, all went well. I didn't get a big stretch in flower but she did fill up the 2.5x2.5 Gorilla tent. See photos. The final outcome of this is 380 grams of dried flower. Yes, 380 grams from a 2x2. Light is very important as the last grow I did in that tent was with a TS100. I got 160 grams from that grow which I thought was just ok. After seeing some youtubers with big lights in small tents I went for the Mars Hydro FC3000. Yeah, a bit overkill for a 2x2, but what the heck, you don't have to run it at 100%, right? In the end, Im very happy. Big light, big result. OH, and the smoke... just like they say, narcotic high, head expanding, perfect to sit and watch a movie... or, what ever else you like to do when lifted. Happy trails.
