I am wondering when to start with nutrients.
I germinated four seeds and moved them direct to five gallon fabric pots with coco coir.
I read this was the way to go because they are auto flower plants.
The company where I bought the seeds says no nutrients for the first three weeks.
Just wondering if this applies to coco or is that recommended only for soil.
They have been in the pots for just over two weeks, but are pretty small.
Temp/RH is 23 C and 58% (daily average).
Also one more thing (sorry about the length of the post). Is it better to run the exhaust fan all the time or try and stabilize the temp/RH.
I am using Remo nutrients, I gave them some this morning. I took the chart from Remo and mixed up a half batch. I was nervous about burning them.
I also lowered the light according to the company specs (I had it too far away)
After feeding I checked the run off it came back TDS 267, PH 6.8.
When I mixed the brew TDS was 305, PH 5.5.
Also I started with R/O water with TDS of 10.
Am I on the right track here?
I bought your book and read it cover to cover. I'll have to go back and do some review.
Thanks for the reply.
Coco is an inert medium so it doesn't have nutrients in it. What nutrients do you plan to feed the plant? The plant needs CO2 to grow so changing the air is required. When they are seedlings, the air doesn't need to be changed as much as larger plants that fill up an entire tent grow tent.
Yes
So just water then test ppm?
Thanks, next water I'll add some nutrients.
I haven’t used coco but I think that my be more for soil
