Hello. I am 70 days from seed, into auto flower Dosidos from Kanabia seeds. As allways they are all different and some smaller and not nearly ready, some huge and bursting. Its like they are on deferent schedule, although they are in same space and getting feed same. Is it just the course of auto flowers or I just can get my hands on very good genetics. Can it be cos of small space?its allways the same one big like 200g on it, second one smaller loke 120g and few weeks late, and allways the smallest one wit about 70g of cured flower. Don't get me wrong I am proud of my little grow, 0.6 square meter with lumatex 400w led light. Best I can do on second floor and just enough for.personal use, but its allways touch and go, I am looking for more consistentcy. Also when checking trichomes I do see some amber. But is it ready? Also I wonder if the caps on trichromes fall of with time? Here are some pictures, any feedback is very appreciated. I grew Autos in the past and had the same problem. Even though the seeds were all the same strain, each plant looked completely different.
I have since switched to Photo Periods. You can run into the same problem with Photo Periods, but if you find one plant you like you can keep cloning it and the clones will all be pretty much the same.
It's hard to tell from the picture if your plant is ready to harvest. Take samples from a few different buds (tip of tiny sugar leaf right on the bud) and if you generally see 10% amber and the hairs on your buds have mostly pulled back to the bud, then you should be in the harvest window.
For Autos and mixed Photos, the strain is only as stable as the breeder makes them. Usually strains need to be breed for 7 generations to become stable (Called an F7), not all breeders go that far. I'm not 100% sure about all that so take it with a grain of salt. 😁
