Has anybody else had very " Hot “ bags of soil this year ? Having a hard time getting PPM’s down and have not fed yet. Just seems like some super hot bags of soil i got. Getting great pH at 6.2-6.7 but damn, doubt these auto‘s will even need a feeding.

Gotchya, on the ppm issue. I did not even think about looking on the bags to see the packaged date or date blended but, my bags were in the garage for about 1.5 months unopened so maybe for sure the soil could have been in that stage. 🧐
I would call it more of a nutrient lockout. Plants were growing lots of veg, stubby and very green almost purple. No nutes fed and my runoff ppm is 1650 for the 3rd full watering. pH is perfect but, how in the hell am i supposed to be in lower ppm’s with this soil ?
Some 2 -3 week old autos were extremely dark green some shiny and a lil clawing going on. If the soil is that high all the time what do you do ? There is no way this soil would of ever been down in 500 minus range. What is it supposed to be out of the bag ?
It is putting my plants in Ni toxicity. All my soil is at 1600-1200 ppm’s. I have flushed and gotten all of them in the correct ranges. Kind of defeats the purpose of buying good soil if i have to flush it down so much. What a pain in the ass getting them all flushed down to correct ppm,s
I've had bags that were 2000+ PPM and I think I've gone as long as 45 days without feeding.
