@jjjjj.bbbb Ok, so it really depends on the size of your plants for how often you need to exhaust. You don't need to add in fresh air as often for small seedlings as you do for larger plants in flowering for example. Most grower just leave their inline fan on 24/7; that's perfectly fine to do. Some have trouble controlling temp/humidity when they run their fan 24/7 so they run it on intervals. Some growers supplement CO2 and won't exhaust at all. A general rule is to change out the air in your grow space every 1-5 minutes.

Exactly, i dont want to end up doing something wrong and having to throw away the whole crop I've been caring for months.

There are a lot of contradicting info online which makes the research frustrating.

One of the things you'll hear often is, "it depends." How big do you plan to grow the plants? Are you going for a specific yield? Some growers will veg for 20-30 days then flip to flowering to keep their plants small and a bit easier to manage. Others are trying to grow very large plants with massive buds so they will veg their plants a lot longer - sometimes 8 or more weeks. So it really comes down to your choice according to your goals.

2) it is mentioned that the harvest should be when the trichomes are amber/cloudy. I should begin flushing prior 2 weeks before this.

Keep in mind that everything in my ebook is general guidance geared towards simplifying the process for beginners. There are more complex answers out there. That being said, once your trichomes are mostly cloudy, you can flush the plant. It doesn't need to be 14 days out. Some growers flush their plants as close to 5-7 days before harvest. I've grown plants where I flushed 21 days before harvest. As you're growing your plants and notice the trichomes are mostly cloudy and growth has appeared to drastically slow down, you can flush. If you flush your plant and then 7 days later you realize your plant is done and feel like harvesting, then you can. So again, the 14-day flush period is general guidance and there is a lot of flexibility there. And like @gregthe357 mentioned, flushing is a highly debatable topic so keep that in mind.

You can use a microscope or a jeweler's loupe to see the trichomes up close. Most strains take 8-10 weeks to fully flower and be ready for harvest. You can also look at the color of the pistils to get an idea of when to start using the microscope to look at the trichomes.

Watering/feeding is done every time the soil is dry - not flushing.

Correct, 12/12 for the entire flowering phase.

One thing bothering me tho, Im going to flush instead of feeding. My target is to get a ppm of 50 by checking the soil runoff in the end.

I.e. lets say i used to feed every 2 days and water the plant every other day.

So when flushing 10 gallons of water in my 5 gal pot, i'll flush every 2 days. Done.

But what about watering?

I mean flushing should also take care in itself automatically the "watering " part. Correct?

The soil is still going to be wet/damp. Im guessing no need to water anymore? 🤔

Yes but if you don't get the PPM down that low then it's ok. The main goal really is for the plant's leaves to fade which is a signal of chlorophyll breakdown.

Correct when you are in flush phase the medium will be moist so additional watering isn't necessary.

You won't need to LST past the stretch phase.

If the plant is male, simply cut the plant down at the stalk and dispose of.
