Hi, I am always trying to find a better way to record things, but here is an example of what I do now. This example is tracking three plants.
Yellow color coding means in Bloom in Tent #1 (Purple is Bloom Tent #2 and Green for Veg)
Plant name tells me strain and lineage - (eg: K121121 - This is the first clone in the 5th series of clones that started from Kush seed #1)
Date in Left column, other columns record what was feed plus Week and Day (eg: W6-D4), when the hairs start to turn Amber, etc (That's my own short hand on the feed amounts so don't try and figure it out)
You can also see where I record when I defoliate, lollipop, when I flush and the PPM as well as general notes like 'Thirsty' and when I harvest. I also record any problems like spots on the leaves here.
Expected harvest window in top left corner (W11-D3-D7 - Week 11 from Day 3 to 7)
Things like PH and PPM I will only record if I am trying something new or I am trying to fix a problem. Exclamation points and underlines mean something new like a change in the feed.
I am constantly reviewing what I have done as I go forward. If the girls look hungry or sick I take a look at what I have been feeding and adjust. Before I feed I always review what I feed last time just to make sure I'm not forgetting anything.
Problem plants get their own page with lots of room for notes.
Hi Rafe in my journal I track pH, temperature, how much nutrients, I comments on leaf color, PPM, I comment on how/when I lolli-pop, LST, and/or top along with the after effects, and I break it down by stages of growth.
Thank you. All this gives me stuff to think about.
Rafe

What data is most often reviewed? Do you ever go back over past iterations and for what data?
