I have a vivosun 6by6by80 grow tent and have had it for almost 20 months. The zippers all are loose and a lot of light can leak through also on some parts of the stitching there is a lot of light leaks happening. I have treated, as I do all my tents, with care and experience but this tent is after 20 months done and vivosun says it happens. I now need t6o step up to a new tent appx. 8foot by 4 foot by 78 or 80 inches tall. I have seen many tents and many prices but hope the forum can give me some good direction before I start my next grow. Some of my girls in certain place of my tent were affected by the light in coming and they were on a 1 month move and place type of set up and at different stages. The finicky plants to grow (2) were almost at a stop for one month and because of the timing of my plants moving they seemed to be the only ones. I am ready to go to the best at least top three or four tents to get rolling and I need help. Show me your tents!

My Gorilla Grow Tent has held up great - but it's so expensive. I just got a few of the new AC infinity ones and so far so good. It's actually thinker and cheaper than the Gorilla Grow Tent too! Link: https://bit.ly/3yC9A08
Its the same story for most companies in our business of growing, buyer beware check the company out before doing business. I will never do business with vivosun, No caps here! That makes two of us questioning a giants practices and on this venue hopefully many will find out.
Vivosun tried to rip me off, I couldn't believe it. In order not to refund me a light they never sent, they used a different Purchase order for PayPal to show they did send it. Not a mistake, they were scamming, I have all texts and emails between Vivosun and PayPal. I have 2 VS1000's, but a 3rd was in dispute. I have 2 Vivosun tents, light leaks, I use black sheets over the bloom tent. My 6 inch Inline fan and charcoal filter from Vivosun are good. I think they have a good Graphic Arts department and are good at copying everyone else. They maybe on the right path to success, but I don't like them. I use ES300 V3 in the bloom tent. I would try a Gorilla tent.
Your ahead of me by about 4 years. I wish I had room for a 8x4 lol
I run an AC Infinity 4x4 and its a solid tent with the 2000D mylar.
I looked AC Infinity has em out of stock but maybe you could fit a 10x5?
I'm jealous already!
CLOUDLAB 816, Advance Grow Tent 10x5, 2000D Diamond Mylar Canvas, 120" x 60" x 80" - AC Infinity
An 8 X 4 is a pretty big tent. I do not have anything near that size.
If I was, I would go Gorilla or Silverback. Solid brands that have been around awhile-
Be cool to see who posts their pics of a BIG garden!
I've had my Mars Hydro tent for a number of years and it's still holding up well. I can't comment on other brands. Just do a google search for grow tents to find the best quality.
