Hi,
Popped a new Gelato seed recently and I'm getting some interesting looking leaves. She is in week 5 of flower now and other than the funky leaves she is doing fine.
I'm pretty sure this is just a harmless genetic hic-up called Variegation, let me know if you have any other theories.
Here is a @Mr. Grow It article on Variegation:

Here's an update on the girl with the Variegation issue and the clones taken from her.
The original plant is now in week 9 of flower and budding nicely. The Variegation continues to show up on random leaves.
One thing I notice with this issue is the sections of the leaves affected by the Variegation are very sensitive to light burn. Here are some pictures of her now, the coloring in the third picture is not from a fade but from affected sections reacting badly to the light.
I also took two clones from her before putting her into flower. One cutting had a spot of Variegation on a leaf, the other cutting did not. The cutting with the affected leaf grew into a big plant with lot of affected leaves. The other cutting grew into a big plant without a trace of Variegation ... which I did not expect since it is a genetic issue.
Here is the clone that started with a spot on a leaf.
This is the plant grown from the clipping with no markings on the leaves.
I have taken a new set of clones from the plant showing no signs of Variegation. it will be interesting to see if the Variegation expresses its self again in the future.
Yup looks a lot like variegation to me as well.
