In veg and we are noticing heat stress With new leafs Curling for protection. So we lifted lights and also dimmed them.
Was curious how long does it usually take for plant recovery ? Also should we continue with nutrients or hold off and just give good watering.
would love advice
Is that the only plant in the tent with that issue? May just be a sensitive pheno. You may want to move that plant to the outermost row where light is less intense.
Heavy 16. We just transplanted the clones and are in Veg. we use great white but haven’t used veg A yet because we are trying to fix this problem
we use RO water and PH is balanced before. I am scared it’s genetics too, but everything I read is heat stress.
I also got these lights because of his amazing review
@Mr. Grow It did a review of this light I believe. He may have a little more insight on why it would be causing this at the height you've been using the light.
I was just reading up on this light, and they recommend a max of 12" above the canopy. If you're sitting at 4 feet, that seems like a lot so you should not be burning the plants that way, unless they're just sensitive like my current grow is. Can you post a picture or two? I'm curious what the leaves look like. If it's a deficiency, you can catch it pretty quick.
What lights are you using and what distance have you been keeping them?
Also, how's your airflow?
Plant recovery generally doesn't take too long, unless you're growing organically then it can take up to a week or so. If they aren't showing signs of a deficiency at all, then I would continue with nutes. Phosphorous deficiency can look a lot like light/heat stress as well.
I am just finishing a grow where the plants leaves heat stressed no matter what I did, but they have still turned out really nice.
