will need info on drying will i be okay if i just hang them in my tent in a room in my house with just an outlet sucking out air will i need anything else
If you can have a fan blowing by them, not directly at them but circulating around them, it will help eliminate any micro climates you might get around any of the flowers. You also want to keep your humidity in check. Have a hygrometer nearby so you can monitor it. You also dont want to dry them to quickly. I just harvested 5 of mine yesterday and have them hanging in a closet with a small clip-on fan circulating the air. Depending on the size, the process can take a few weeks. Hope this helps, and good growing!
Yeah i understand the stess factor that everyone refers to when doing it but, it just hasn't seemed to do much for me. If it works for others than by all means have at it. Another thing I forget to let you know newbie420 is after a few days of drying you will see the bigger leaves starting to droop and cover flowers and what not, I will go through and cut all the bigger leaves out to help speed up the process and expose all that is being covered. I do this while they are still fairly moist so the tricomes are still sticky and dont wanna break off from me handling them. Hope this helps bud! Good Growing!
i was under the understanding it is all meant to stress the plant at its final harvest stages thus putting her into overdrive so to speak before shes pulled
I agree with everything he said besides the 24-36 hours of darkness first. Now I know that is a debatable subject but I figure if grown outdoors the sun would never disappear for 2 days so why do it? I do believe however that you should harvest in the dark, right before dawn. The terpene potency is highest at that time and therefore the best time to cut. At least that is what Ed Rosethal wrote.

Here is the same hanger post-cut. Notice I didn't try to get them all, just the big ones covering stuff up.
Hey I just cut mine down 4 days ago. Here is an example of what I mean. Here is a pre-cut hanger.
