I use mason jars for the cure and fill them half to 3/4 only. You want room in the jar so you can give them a shake and tumble to keep things from sticking together. I will usually give them a shake then open them up for about 30 minutes. I'll do that every day for about 2 weeks then for about 20 minutes every day for the next two weeks.
After a few days of curing you might think it's getting soft or may have an odd smell. Don't fret, wait at least two weeks before you start to judge and you will be surprised at the difference. After 4 weeks it will be even better!
Get yourself some small Hygrometers you can put in the jar to monitor the humidity. You are aiming for 62%. If too high, then open the jars for longer, it too low then open for less and if really dry, add in some humidity packs (eg:Boveda)
@Cap Stone thank u just now the dry and cure , I don’t want to mess this part up , if done right will the smell get stronger ? And do u have any tips on this ?
Looks like you are in the ball park, but hard to tell without a close up of the trichomes. You will need something in the 40-60% magnification to see them. Some phones have really nice cameras that let you zoom in close enough.
You will be looking for the trichomes to be mostly cloudy with a few amber color ones.
Do you know how many weeks the seed manufacture says it will take? I usually end up going with the high end of their estimate or a week longer. It's all up to the trichomes.
Congrats on your harvest!
