Some growers don't flush at all. Some growers flush 14 days prior to harvest, some 7 days prior to harvest, some 5 days prior to harvest. There is so much info out there and not a whole lot of science. So it's your choice really. Here's a video I made about a study done on flushing:
I always ensure the medium is in the proper pH range for optimal nutrient uptake. So if you need to pH your water, go for it.
Everyone is a little different. Myself I use organic and don't flush at all. Most of the people I know using synthetic flush 5-10 days prior to harvest. You will get many different answers to this.
@Kevin Carey organic is organic in my book. If you have multiple plants personally I'd flush some and not the others to see the difference for next grow.
Exactly my thought the Two plants at back I have flushed for 5 days now and one in middle I did not .I am hoping it is normal for leafs to turn yellow during flush ?
@mwhite9829 I am also using organic everything and I don’t usually flush at all. I plan on trying a 5 day flush on this run which is currently in veg 🌱🪴🤙🏼
