Thought ph was bit high for coco coir...lol! I think it is over watering as yellowing leaves at bottom which I chop. The leaves have got an almost leathery look to them. I’m growing in 2x2 under 1000 led light, noticed humidity goes up dramatically after watering from 50 to about 70. Had to turn humidifier off initially after watering. Got two fans running. Also noticing that their growth seems stunted, these have been in since mid April and should be bigger than this by now. Grateful for any advice anyone has please. Cheers
Whoops! Good catch. I only grow in soil so have soil on the brain lol. I think you are right about the PH being lower for coco but I'm not sure what the range is. I'll have to defer to the Coco experts on that one.
Hi, your PH should be around 6.5. This chart shows what gets taken up into the plant based on the PH. If you are below 6 then your plant is probably not taking up Calcium, Phosphorus or Magnesium.
Hey, thanks for answering. Lights are over 20 inches from plant. Coco coir and perlight. Keeping ph at 5.8 and monitoring run off which is always under 6. Using canna A&B with cal mag for feeding. I’ve recently re potted in to 5 gallon pots. Not sure if this has something to do with it!? Thanks again
