This is not approved by HLG in any way shape or form....lol
However, this is just the upgrade it needed. Thanks HLG, for leaving enough heat sink to add 3 more boards....i cant Imagine why everyone is not using these boards.....
@Dr. Ozzy yeah i just saw that light. theyre calling it The Blackbird....6@QB200s. nice light...
i mainly did it cause i got tired of moving my 600 Bspec in and out of the tent. i put the remaining bspec on a DIY 2 board QB648 light in my 4x2 So it's basically like one arm of the Diablo... Also with separate power supplies so I can control them independently
@W J Rucier I did this run. I have a single plant under the R spec now but had a seed not pop. Hoping to clone it and follow up with 2 in there to see how that goes- also thinking of mounting B spec panel in a smaller dedicated seedling/early stage until up pot tent and keeping the R spec in the 2 X 3. (bought another driver) It's a 3' tent and I will dial the driver down to 60w.
I know HLG just released a new model light that was black, for a larger area but played closer to canopy height...but the Diablo has been out for a while. Supposed to be a Beast too, can't imagine adding panels to it....next question is are they controlled separately? Or does it aaaaall just blaze at once??
lol...ty, ty, tyvm
yes they are b spec panels, hooked up to a seperate MEANWELL 320 so i can control seperately...

Did you add panels in the middle? The blue ones? Are those B spec panels?
