I don’t get the preoccupation with RH when cultivating cannabis, although many differences among phenos exist. Jamaica is in the tropics and has a high humidity climate all of the time, but they grow some of the best weed on the planet.
Ensuring air movement through the leaves to prevent condensation and mold formation seems to be more critical than RH readings when the plants are actively growing.
I grow in my bedroom in a 3x5x7foot tent , I put a dehumidifier in my room or the "lung" room and the inline fan sucks up the dry air and expels the humid air. I use a 60 pint dehumidifier, bought it used $30. Bedroom is about 12 x 14 ,I can get my rh to 35
Agree,i just bought one myself(was getting in to 70% range and i was like oww shit),new it was 160$ 22pints.I put i close to the tent and within 2-3 hrs it dropped it to 55% which i had it set at.Will be great for drying to i think
Hook it up to an humidity controller and an air conditioner to a temperature controller and its much easier to handle. The controllers do all the work. I bought both controllers for less than 30 each. Works great
Hi, assuming you are using an inline fan, do you have it running at 100%? Sounds like you need to vent the humid air from your tent faster. I keep my fan running on low and turn it up when it gets too hot and humid in the tent.
Are you currently using an inline fan?
