I’m running two spiderfarmer sf4000 in a 5x10 tent on a 12/12 cycle running in the day and wanting to switch by 12 hours to allow them to run at night and off the day do I give them extra dark there in week 4 flower
Did you post this to my Patreon too? I ask because someone asked the same question. Here is my response: Good question! Are you on a Veg light cycle or flower light cycle? What hours are your lights on right now and what hours are you aiming to have them on? I would probably just give the plants an extended darkness period. For example, if you're on a 12/12 light cycle and your lights currently turn off at 6pm, but want them to come on at 6pm, I would keep them off until 6pm the following day and then be back on a 12/12 light cycle. Many growers give their plants an extended dark period before flipping to flower so it shouldn't have any detrimental effects on your plants.
