So my earlier text dealt with day 70 and not quite ready to harvest. I cut the girls down today at day 85. I still do not think they are 100% ready But I am running out of time. I am leaving town on 3 July for 10 days. So I believe I can dry the girls in time but now what do I do? I know this is bad timing on my part. But what can I do to save the byes after I dry the girls can I put them in the freezer until I get back? please give me some suggestions so I do not ruin this entire crop. I will not be able to trim and store them in jars until July 15. I know this is bad planning but please give me some help. Thank you so much

I never fill a jar more than half way for the cure. That gives the buds lots of space to move around when I shake up the jar. If not enough space in the jar, then the buds stick together too much and then .... Doooooooom.
I generally go with the standard 1 quart jars for curing,
A dilemma indeed!
First off, do not put anything in the freezer. Unless you are trying to collect kief.
Ok, today is the 16th, if you can lower humidity and have a good dry completed by Monday the 21 you can jar them up for curing on Tuesday the 22. That will give you a week and half to burp the jars, also leave the jars open a little longer than you usually would.
By the time you leave on the 3rd they should be pretty stable and dry and the buds should survive you being away until July 15th. You might want to throw some Boost or Boveda packs in. I would go for Boost because I believe they work better at lowering humidity, Boveda is great when your buds are too dry.
I'm thinking if you go a little hard and fast on the dry and cure it will save you in the end, although not ideal.
Good luck and stay away from the freezer! ;o)
