So what’s the difference between ppm500 setting and the ppm 700 setting? And I get the EC is just one setting on there so I know the EC is that one. Do I read it on the 500? If so my mid veg plant soil water test tested at ppm500 = 310 and the ppm700 read at 430. So do I add those two together to get the total ppm or?? Because I know it should be at 800-950ppm for mid veg stage. my soil ph tested at 5.9… it’s showing some Ph deficiency in the leaves. please help asap.

Got a pic so we can see what you’re talking about? You can use either 500 scale or 700 scale - most seem to use 500 scale. The range you mention I assume is for 500 scale.
Don’t add anything together- go by EC. The 700 and 500 are conversions of the EC # depending on what country you are in- 1.4-1.8 veg, up to 2.4-6 by wk 5-6in flower, then decrease as you get close to harvest.
