I plan on running a carbon filter (AC Infinity) in the tent and the ducting will require very few bends. I plan to vent out of a window with a Vent Works 6" dryer vent. I am thinking it would be better to run a 6" fan at 402cfm at 1/4 speed than a 4" fan at 205cfm at 3/4 speed. I also thought about getting a high cfm kit for the tent just in case. Do you think this is a good idea or should I stick with a 4" ventilation setup?

6”. I completely agree with your reasoning. I have a 6” in my 2x4 with another 6”booster at end of duct at window. Yes, I feel in long run better to run larger fan at lower speeds.
