I agree. Doesnt matter much in a grow tent. I'm an electrician and a kw cost the same peak vs. Non peak. If it a power consumption thing the get a 220v plug addapter from the fixture manufacturer and install a 220v outlet in your grow room. Cut amp draw in half.
With winter coming up, I’m considering running them at night because it would help them keep warm without a heater at night and it’s already warmer with the sun out while they sleep. Best of both worlds
It doesn't hurt to run your 12/12 cycle either way. Just be sure your tent or grow area is light proof to ensure 100% darkness when the lights are off. Using the lights for warmth works pretty good for when it's cooler outside of the grow area.
