I’m currently running this light….

in my 4x4 tent for 3 og kush autos. They’re only in their second week. I have it at 24”, but now I’m wondering if it’s going to be enough light for them through flower. Is this light powerful enough for 3 plants in a 4x4 tent? I’m trying to keep my cost down, just bought a better dehumidifier. I’m worried that it’s not going to be enough light. I’m hoping it’s going to be enough, I’m tired of telling my wife I need to buy more equipment.

I just ordered two more of those same lights. Ended up getting it for $68 each. I’ll rearrange everything in the tent tomorrow when it gets here. I’m planning on putting one on top of each plant.

I'd put that light in a 2x2 grow space over 1 plant. Not sure how well it'll do over 3 plants in a 4x4.

repeat. PAR distance suggestions from manufacturer gets you started but your PLANT will tell you what’s up. Watch it. if you want, download a PAR/DLI meter for your smartphone to give you another free/cheap tool, but learn to read your plants, not a meter.
The most important meter you NEED is a ppm and Ph meter….not a light meter….

Your light is fine. Keep the plants grouped closer to the 3’ coverage area under the light. I ran a 3’ light pattern in a 5’ X 5’ last year no problems with extra room to work. Ph, ppm, environment.
Focus on those before buying a bunch of more gear-

One or two harvests and she will probably get more agreeable to upgrades but concentrate on the basics first.

Just dropped it from 24” to 20”. Might drop it to 18” tomorrow after I see how they look tonight.
Here’s the par ratings for it. There’s only 3 plants under it. This is my first grow. I’m wondering if I should get another one of these lights or a different light. Money is tight though, so im trying to keep the cost down. Also wondering if I should lower it to 18”. It’s currently at 24”. I wish I had a par meter.
