After watching several beginner videos on grows from beginning to end, I am left uncertain about lighting. Can you please inform me of how much lighting and distance from plant to light for each stage of the growing process? If growing in soil with 4x4 tent.

Thank you for the response. Your video was informative. I am not growing but researching so I don't actually have a light. What lighting would you recommend for a 4x4 tent? Would you use same lighting for each stage: seedling/veg/flower? And would you place the lights at the same distance for each stage?
Well every light is different so light distance can be different. Although, if you know the amount of PAR then you can use that to help determine light distance. Here's a video I made on it:
