I just noticed that the first light in the daisy chain is staying on just barely noticable. This grow is feminized, so do you think its bothering the plants at lights out?

Oh no! Not good at all. That will absolutely cause problems. Like @mwhite9829 said, it will become light stressed and most likely herm. I hope it's not too late to return the defective grow light to get your money back :(
