Has anyone noticed this before? I’m in week 6 of Veg and starting to get a bit worried. My run off PH is dropping. The crazy thing is I started to notice a bit of yellowing on my lower leaves. I’m in fox farm ocean forrest soil and initially thought it was just time to start feeding nutes being that the soil has enough nutes to get you through a few weeks. I flushed my plants with ph watered thinking I might of had some kind of lock out of something. I let my girls dry out and just fed them and testing and saw this. How can I bring my soil ph back up? I’m in 5 gallon pots and flushed 20 gallons of water through both of my plants about 6 days ago.

Was you able to get your pH problem resolved?
I grow in a peat mix hydro style and have to add lime throughout my entire grow. When I see it going down to 5.8 I start adding 1 tablespoon of dolomitic lime per gallon of medium then fertigate. I sometimes have to do this a couple times to get it up. I read where calcitic lime will change the pH much quicker but I have not had to use that yet but might be worth looking into.
Cool thanks cam
You generally shouldn't flush soil. You should start feeding nutrients immediatly if you see signs of deficiencies. You likely flushed out whatever was left with that flush. You shouldn't worry too much about raising the soil ph because that's well within the normal range. If you really want to raise your soils ph you can add in a small amount of horticultural lime. Too much will push it in the wrong direction. It's mainly made up of calcium and magnesium.
