Background: This is my first attempt at growing and it's been a lot of fun to learn how this plant works. I was given some seeds as a gift that came from a company that said they were feminized, I doubt the legitimacy of their claims unfortunately. Only 1 of 8 seeds popped and this is the plant I'm growing. When I've pruned, I have been able to get 5 successful clones of this plant that are currently rooted/potted and growing great.
On April 16th I flipped the plant over (12/12) to flower after vegging it for around 75 days. Within 2 days of it being on a 12/12 light cycle, I noticed that the tops were all turning a lighter shade of green (which I expected to happen) and it started getting these things that are either calyxs or pollen sacks. I am new to gardening in general and have had to force myself to learn to be patient, so I'm not sure if I'm over analyzing the plant or seeing male characteristics. I read somewhere that pollen sacks will not develop prior to 3 weeks into flower. If that is true, I know that I have not seen this growth prior to changing to the flowering light cycle.
Questions: (sorry for the long list, any help is appreciated!)
Is this a Male/Female/Hermie?
If Male, can I do anything about it to switch it to feminize it?
If Male, are my clones also going to be guaranteed male?
If Hermie, are my clones also going to be guaranteed hermie?
If Male, will this grow any usable flower or is there a good reason to continue putting effort into this plant if I'm not intending to breed it?
If Male, I want to avoid getting pollen in my carbon filter because I'd like to re-use this in a future grow. How long do I have before the pollen sacks will open?
If hermie, should I focus my efforts on cutting off the pollen sacks to attempt to prevent any flowers or my clones from being pollinated?
I also have 4 seeds that I was given that I have no idea any information about at all. 3 of the 4 seeds have germinated, is there a way I can tell earlier on in the process whether these are male or female seeds? I saw a video where someone said you can start to see pollen sacks prior to switching to flower, but I've also seen other info saying pollen sacks will not show up until week 3 of flower.
