had a few that looked this way and on the main nodes it was really hard to see or tell if there were hairs or tiny balls , over the next 8 to 10 days i kept close eye on them and still hard time on telling until i noticed one of the New sprouts from the first few nodes now had the sign of being Male - the evident tiny balls. ( note - what i found in this was that by the time the lower sprouts got 5 or 6 nodes it was evident of the sex of plant, if you can get a 2X or 4X magnifying glass it will help better as the plant grows, this can also help if the lower portion is female while the top is male - had one personally and let it go to full maturity - did for seeds and just for kicks.
but if you like the time and effort of grows this is a good way to try
i have used the long style method myself just to see if it works , and it does work // between the third and fifth weeks i like to take a cutting - clone , then start the cutting - clone with 24 hours of darkness then start a 12 - 12 light cycle over the next 10 to 14 days , ( keeping soil moist but not over saturated ) if it all goes right by the end of the 14 days one should now see in the nodes the pistols with hairs or little balls. // i use this personally as i do not have the money to get tested and gives me time to see how the main plant is doing as well - once i know its male i will then make the choice to continue or end it -- if i end the plant i will grind it up and just put right back in the soil for the next grow
best of luck but looks like a male to me -- just my thought on the picture above

Is that a white pistil on it? Or does the camera and light make it appear white? It may be a little too early to tell.
