First rdwc run. May have slightly underestimated the difference in growth from living soil... I have supercropped them twice in the last 5 days but they won't slow down. I have 2 more weeks of stretch left. About to throw a second trellis on after a small cleanup.

Congrats! That looks like a big win to me!
Tent height, yeah, been there. When I bought my second tent I made sure it was over 6 feet in height.
17 days later and a long day of trimming I have 250g of dry flower ready for cure and over a lb of bud and extremely frost sugar leaf I'm using for a bubble run that is parked in the freezer. Learned some lessons on this one for sure but I'm very happy with the end results. FYI 2 inches is not an ideal light clearance and the amount of co2 I had to give them to keep from burning was astronomical at 480w of lm301b/h and 561c (the red bars) diodes.
The cramped nature of the tent didn't produce the chunkiest buds iv grown but they are still quite firm. Looking forward to the next run where I will have a bit more space and airflow options. I was pretty limited on access once they went up past the doors of the tent but I managed to make it work. Stay tuned if you are interested in making your own cart oil because I will probably be covering that in the near future.
In the end I guess I'll let you decide if I messed up or not ;).
Epic grow. Finally over!!
Also doing a fem seed run with a couple different plants using sts. There is a bit of light burn and some leaf damage from sts spray on the fem'd plant. I'm not concerned though. I plan to extract the seeds and probably run the clean girls for bubble and probably only save the 73um material. Got a surprising amount of pollen using sts, it was far superior to the 40ppm colloidal silver spray I have used in the past.
Closing in on the chop. Pulling them this Wednesday in theory. I'm going to keep waiting until the lowers to fade like I want. I'm really trying to minimize chlorophyll.
Overall, I am very happy with this system. I have done so little work this grow I can't actually believe it. I spent more time trying to make the plants fit in the tent then I spent tinkering with my build. I might do a run-through of the rdwc setup incase anyone stumbles across this. I shot myself in the foot with how big they got but I was caught off guard by the difference from my last grow with the same cultivar. Looking forward to dialing in the next one. Always striving to do better. Speaking of better. The terps on this slap so hard I am running a 6 inch filter on both ends of my exhaust and can still occasionally smell it outside. Can't wait to chop so that goes away lol.
Beautiful!
Broken and bruised but happy and healthy. Week 4 from flip and the plants just stopped stretching. These are clones from the plants I just ran in living soil and the difference is insane. I ran this plant 9.5 weeks last run and got some of the densest flower i'v ever seen. Pretty nuts how much more frost there is at this point too. If you look in the last picture you can see it's throwing so many trichomes that they are even coming out of the stems. 5 weeks out....can't wait!
Explosive growth!!!
My new viewing window. Stretch is wrapping up thankfully. Only thing going for me really is the number of diodes I have on this light. They perfectly cover my entire canopy which means I can turn the light down if need be without reducing light spread. Still at 480w. I had some yellowing out about 2 days ago because the plants got too close. I made some adjustments to my tent and "found some extra room." Since then the leaves have recovered and are green again. Light won't actually go any higher.
Talk about maximizing your grow space. Holy fuck.
Second trellis is up. And everything below the first layer has been removed.
How tall is your tent ?
I'm just getting ready to start my first DWC run in 5 gal buckets, my tent is only 6ft 6in
