Moved my outdoor plants inside

depends he stayed I had 2 eggs when I started then they hatched it was my first season using them it was so cool seeing them pop from the egg was hundreds of them! They were tiny but they hung out for while every few days I'd see less and less however there is still some around I moved 5 plants inside that were in a field they seemed to leave faster in the field but have another spot in a yard that's mowed and more seemed to hang around those are still outside well in a small green house now but them 5 plants all have 1 mantis left living on them the field plants however I only seen one when I brought them home last week just depends on the area and food supply I gave my friend 20 of the baby mantis and he said they left within a couple days but he has a tiny yard with no bugs. I'm thinking the field was just to big so they took off all over I see them all over In the field tho and didn't see in previous years my backyard ones that seemed to hang around more I have 1 acre with plenty of bugs so from what I see if have decent size yard with enough bugs they stay to big of area like field with tons of bugs they wonder off and tiny yard with minimal they just leave when I harvest I let the mantis go I take them to the grape Vinyard that on other side of my property so they still have good food source. Have to be cautious with them tho if they turn their head real fast and look at you don't go stick your hand infront of them.... I also bring grasshopers to them if it raining day so they will have food and don't take off to find it you have to take care of them so they take care of you I also keep a little dish on top of soil with paper towels packed in it so they can drink the water just have little more water than towels can soak up so a little standing water I use towels in it so lady bugs can drink also and not drown i also take a spray bottle and spray a little on leafs where mantis is so they can get the water or they might leave to get a drink and might not come back. That's been my experience its my first year Using them so I can't say for sure

yea just make sure to get egg early it is hard to find them mid season and then ppl want 4x more money. I've had all the good bugs this year protecting my plants. some of my mantis are 6 7 inches there huge ended up being the giant Chinese kind was supposed to be the normal green American kind but I caught them and let them go in the grape Vinyard when I brought plant in. Next time u get seeds try 207 genetics 207genetics.net if your in USA but you will have your seeds within 3 days best place!! @Porch grower they were In a green house but they don't keep bugs off completely... I was having tons of issues with bugs to start! Since I'm in NY and it's technically no legal yet I mean they passed it but says we need time for market to mature and time for them to figure out rules and regulations hopefully theybsaid by next April. So I had in field since my grand parents sold there old house and I would grow there they had best yard for it. But anyways the grasshoppers were chewing on my stems it would kill one branch at a time was hard to even find the damage but basically they'd chew the (bark) in a circle around the stem and would be the smallest damage but always killed branches till I started cutting them off then splicing them back together!! But about bugs I did bring in soil gnats f*** got rid of them already I had released lady bugs in the greenhouse few weeks before I brought them inside but I have a few of them in here also but I'm going to bomb my house a few times after there upstairs I live downstairs but I'm definitely bleaching sanitize that room so I don't get in my other room I already made that room air tight by putting weather striping around door and
