Thank You all for allowing me to post and ask questions, I will start out by posting a video of my grow space, please comment and the questions from me will come, Happy Growing Everyone
Temp. 79 low 86 high Humidity 50 to 80% depending on giving them a bath twice a day, and feeding once in the morning once in the evening.
Thanks, I love my lights They can be a little hot but keeping them High in the air helps with any burning,, in fact no burning it seems forever waiting for the flower but their coming, just started a Alaskan Purple auto it just popped out this morning all cheerful, lost my Osculating fan but I had a replacement, all good.
Nice grow space you got there! Your plants look very healthy. How are you liking that Spider Farmer SF2000? I run one of them too! 🌳
Ok My Flowers are getting Larger and Larger each day.
I don't know, I'm an old man I guess, I thought the best PH tester is our mouth, although I have used a PH tester in the past, I live in a rural area my water comes from a well 300 plus feet in the ground, what better filter, don't misunderstand me I can tell water that has to much iron, zinc or other contaminates your mouth can tell you it all and we have excellent tasting well water.
I prefer the more natural way of growing natural sunlight or as natural as I make it, the nutrients it needs to grow most ideals come from years and years of growing outdoors.
I don't cut and trim my plants I let them grow as nature would outdoors, my temp may get hi, so what it gets hot outside, the humidity may jump up and then drop like a rock, it happens outdoor the same way, I try to create a grow space much like the outdoors in a big swimming pool if you would inside my home.
And our plants are flowering getting lager and lager each day.
and the smell is awesome.
But I'm learning.
Good luck to all you old and new growers.
note I use Miracle Grow above grow potting mix, I've tried several for my indoor projects.
Thank for your responses,
First I have 4 layers of construction plastic, I created a tub if you will inside basically a tent, the ceiling was painted with Kitz paint to prevent mold, it gets cleaned as I have more room to work, these plants are Aug,Sept and Nov. planting, I thought they were all auto flowering, so now I have photo period plants, and a few autos some newly planted, I'm Learning.
I'm using two 2000 watt led panels (purchased at Spider Farmer) find them on the web, both run on a timer 18 hours on, 6 hours off, again I'm learning.
Bath was a bad word to use, I give them a shower in the morning 8:00am and another at 8:00pm, I also have Humidifier connected on the timer with the lights, to maintain a 50 to 70 ran on the digital temp/humidifier gauge mounted on the back wall, with Music and a Osculating fan blowing 24/7, I still learning, but they favor Rock and Roll.
And I use Miracle Grow (small dose) in a pump up container, in the morning and in the evening, any suggestion throw them my way.
I started in a 5x8 closet with a ceiling height of 7 foot, I now have 8' to light panel, still learning.
Keep chatting Fiends
Need to get that water cleaned up.
Def look into a saucer for that water runoff that's asking for pests/problems.
A few questions for you. What time of the light cycle are you "bathing" the plants, and for what purpose?
Are you getting rid of that standing water?
I'm curious as to your feeding schedule. What are you feeding with and why twice a day? Also, what is your medium?
What lights are you using?
