I'm on my 2nd grow now and my plants dont seem to produce very much. I check my ph and ppm and keep it in range. I use general hydroponics nutrients with big bud and calmag and follow guidelines but still not having good harvest? Can you help me please? I'm using a standard potting soil. Is there a specific soil I should be using after transplanting? Or in the flowering stage? My plants grow well in veg stage but not in flowering stage does not produce much I had 9 plants and barely got 2oz in total. This is week 4 of flowering. My led lights have 2 settings veg and bloom, should I be doing both at same time when flowering or just the bloom setting?

Probably just need more light
I found this one. Is this a good one?
check under the equipment drop down tap at the top of the page there are many light recommendations it just depends on size of grow & budget. but again there's no substitute for a quality light so go for as much as your budget can afford.
I dont want to sound impartial or repetitive but I have the Roi-e680 from growers choice and the light is a beast. I paid a bit more than what they go for now but with Mr.Gs discount code I still got a good deal. I've had it for just over a year now and no complaints.
I agree with the light suggestion, even though they say the plant uses more blue or red in veg and visa versa, they still use some of the other spectrum as well. When I used mine, I left both on from beginning to end. Good Growing.
I fourth that, and you definitely want both the Veg and Bloom lights on for flowering.
I agree, I also started with the blurples and although I did ok , I could tell something was off. Thats when I invested in a high quality light and there has been no looking back. Other than possibly strain, I would vote that light is the biggest growing factor (for indoor).
both switches on for flowering & i would suspect if your still unhappy with results to invest in a higher quality light . the blurple lights are so so .. definitely worse out there but you won't be disappointed if you upgrade to a real quality light. a beginner light for sure. there's no making up for poor lighting no matter what you do
