First time grower here. I was checking in on Lyndsay earlier today and found a small problem. This is the only leaf that looked this way. I didn't see it last night when I watered. Can anyone identify the problem?
Thank you to everyone for their responses. I'm going to chock this one up to being too over cautious. I cut all of the bad leaves off and everything is going swell again. I guess patients is my downfall.
what kind of nutrients are you using ? and also do you check the PH balance of the feedings ?
worst i have found is going to the local store and getting potting soils and not reading whats in them -- most will already have the nutrients in the soil and none needed for about 3 months - so if you feed with nutrients then its possible burn from to much nutrients.
also not having correct or proper PH balance can also have similar effects on grow and leaves i know this is a horrible picture but this was part of my encounter some time back
you might also want to check out the videos and articles here as they might have other information to point to your problem,
mine is from dealing with it during a grow and not understanding things in today's standards in sciences -- its definitely not like it was 30 years ago -- then it was toss a few seeds and feed it anything liquid - even old stale beer - soda pop coffee - even wiz -- had fair results but nothing to brag about.
if this picture is close to what you have then i would say get a PH Balance this was mine here poor PH plus me not feeding the right nutrients in each cycle -- doing guess work --
Get some insect dust it strips the wax off of the little buggers and they suffocate it’s a food grade so you don’t have to worry it’s safe but don’t inhale the powder it’s very fine
Did it get ripped off the plant? I know to diagnose most problems, even experienced growers will need to know more specifics about your grow. Are you recording your pH and PPM values every time you water/feed? If so what have they been for the past couple of instances? What are you lights settings? How high are your lights from the top of the plants? What are you temp and humidity ranges daily? What week are you at in your grow? More pics of the rest of the plant would be good too.
glad you were able to recover -
